CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have me wondering, how in the world is Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) a rock star? We’ve heard him sing a few different times, and it’s okay. Not rock star quality. Before you jump all over me, I understand it’s a daytime soap opera. I understand there’s twenty storylines going on with multiple characters. Is this the best Tanner can do though? I’m not convinced. We’ve heard Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) sing a few times as well, and she seemed better than he did…
Tanner did invite Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to his concert to try to win Tessa back. Solid move. For the longest time, I couldn’t decide if he was a terrible person or decent, and maybe he is a decent guy, but he’s no rock star. When he brings Mariah out he tells the crowd that she’s not the best musician so he’s going to help her out. I don’t know, now I’m curious. Mariah probably could do better.

Hey, at least he’s cute though, right? I don’t really have anything against him as a character, but I don’t believe he’s one of the most popular rockstars in the world. It’s made for an interesting storyline, and finding out about Tessa and him was shocking but is this the best we can get?
As for Mariah and Tessa, we’ll have to wait and see. Perhaps, Tessa just needs more time after all the bombshells she had dropped on her. Hopefully, Tanner, the rockstar continues down his path of decency and tries to help Mariah and Tessa. He mentioned he did have thoughts about trying to reconnect with Tessa. What do you think?
