CBS 'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Alum Justin Hartley Steps Out With Chrishell Stause Look-Alike

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that alum Justin Hartley (Adam Newman) might no longer be on daytime television, but that doesn’t mean he’s disconnected from the soap world. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. The handsome actor, who left Genoa City back in 2014, recently opened up about the new Adam Newman in town, actor Mark Grossman. Here’s what he has to say.

Even though Justin is a huge star on the smash primetime hit This is Us, he still keeps in touch with his soap friends, including his good pal Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman). Justin says that he recently had an opportunity to meet Mark Grossman while visiting Melissa on the set of the hit CBS soap.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Justin had nothing but words of praise of the new (and according to some people even improved) Adam Newman, 3.0. He told the publication in an interview, “Yeah, he’s great. I came by there. Missy and I are really good friends. I’ve got a lot of really good friends who still work there. I went over there to visit Missy and hang out for a bit. I brought a couple of writers with me. We’re doing this project that has something to do with soap operas and daytime television and that world. They wanted to see all of that and Mark was there and he was very gracious and let me watch him work, which was cool. I think he’s doing a great job.”

It’s great to hear one former daytime television star show his support for another. With that said, we have to agree with Justin Hartley that Mark Grossman is definitely doing a great job in his portrayal as Adam Newman. There isn’t a day that he doesn’t keep fans on the edge of their seats!
