CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that ‘Green Day’ singer Billie Joe Armstrong has teased his possible appearance on the soap! Last week, while recording a scene between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) after Kyle and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) break up, Armstrong says over the video, “I want to be on a soap opera, so bad! I really do.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for swarms of comments to come in backing him up. “honestly you’d probably be good at being an actor on a soap opera”. “Get in touch with your agent make it happen!!! I want to see you acting again”. “I’d watch it!”. Not only has he expressed his interest. We’re not getting teased that it may actually happen!
Even Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) posted in all caps, “This is my show I am on it please come back and visit for the love of God *deep inhaling but not in a creepy way*.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Green Day Singer Billie Joe Armstrong Teasing An Appearance?
Yesterday the singer posted again on Instagram. This time at ‘The Young and the Restless’ studio! The picture just shows a wall with a sign of the soap. Did he actually make it happen? It certainly seems like he’s made his dream come true! We’d love to see the musician come on the show, even if just for a cameo/minor role!
He has acted before in limited forms, including shows like ‘Nurse Jackie’, ‘This is 40’, and ‘Drunk History’. He wouldn’t go into it blind and he’s just a talented person, to begin with! Who knew he was such a fan of daytime soap operas!
