CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that this week has been a Katherine The Great marathon! Before we dive into the early 80s next Monday, it’s been exciting to revisit the role that Jeanne Cooper brought to life. While we aren’t able to continue any of our current storylines due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it’s been fun to go back and see where it all began.

Of course, fans have been enjoying seeing her on their televisions again and have been commenting on how much of an impact she had on the daytime soap opera. Comments ranged from, “The irreplaceable Katherine Chancellor”, “Absolutely loving these old episodes of Y&R, so glad I met you, Miss Jeanne Cooper, you were the best. The great Mrs. C”, “She was a beautiful woman, miss her on the show.”, “This is how I remember her best….grand sweeping elegance” and “It’s been such a treat to relive this old episodes soo good to see Jeanne Cooper she is truly missed. And to see all the other characters no longer on the show, also it’s fun to see how young lots of them look, which proves how long they have been on Young&Restless.”
You’d be hard-pressed to find a fan of the show who didn’t like Jeanna Cooper as Katherine Chancellor. With that, enjoy the rest of the week and her mini-marathon. Hopefully, we will be able to continue with our current storylines soon, but until then let’s enjoy the break and live through all the nostalgia. What do you think?
