CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers is here with the final throwback spoiler of the week. This has been a really fun Katherine the Great theme week, and it closes with a fun episode from May 4, 2009 when Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Patrick Murphy (Michael Fairman) married. It was an all-star turnout with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as the best man and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as the maid of honor. And the best part is it went off without much of a bump. Note the much of a bump phrasing choice.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 1 Throwback: Jill nearly causes a scene
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) arrives for the wedding fairly pickled, and after a brief exchange, was tied up and locked in the closet by Nina Webster (Tricia Cast). It’s a fun little moment that reminds us that nothing is ever full proof as she eventually gets loose, thanks to Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bergman). Jill is headed off, though, and saved her trouble for later when she approached Katherine will her full amount of hate and vitriol. It’s a quick scene, but it’s poignant one that sums up their relationship pretty well and shows Katherine’s in a good place that even Jill can’t shake her from it.
