CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for some much needed drama injected back in the show as it looks like some plans are going to backfire spectacularly.

Things in Genoa City look to be heating up, and we can’t wait to see what kind of effect these plot twists will have on the current storylines.

    Let’s dive in!

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 2: Not according to plan?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a careful strategist, so him not expecting Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to not turn on him after his actions toward Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seems obvious in hindsight.

To be fair, it is typical him, and he’s not allowed to be wrong or make a mistake for a few years now so it fits.

But that doesn’t mean we won’t have some fun exchanges when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) confronts him about his plot and how it didn’t work. He may even tell Victor he’s slipping.

That’ll give Victor a win to play to Adam’s ego, but Adam’s part in it will most likely be a ploy too.

The main reason is we think it was too obvious Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was up to something, and Nick ratting Victor out confirmed it.

In the end, Victor will claim it as his grand scheme and life will go on. But there will be some fireworks as he’ll stress Adam belongs at Newman Enterprises, to which Adam will tell him to pound sand. Though he may be intrigued enough to consider it.

The seed will be planted and Victor will take his victory lap.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 2: Hot time in Jabot

While Adam’s enjoying bursting Victor’s bubble, ‘Young and the Restless’ will be looking forward to seeing how Kyle handles being confronted by Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for his actions.

Kyle’s been in a strange place as he’s wary about what his parents are doing while also trying to remain true to his vision of the family business.

We expect things to keep getting worse as he’ll feel abandoned by Jack when he defends Adam and calls Kyle out for buying into Victor’s plan without any concern what it meant to Jack to be undermined.

We could be seeing a splitting of the way for father and son, and it wouldn’t surprise us if Kyle eventually finds himself looking for a way out to create his own company or at Newman Enterprises.

Will Kyle hear what Jack’s saying and salvage their relationship? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
