CBS “The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that over the past several weeks, we have seen Faith struggling over her mother’s cancer. Faith has cried numerous tears in Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) arms. Though Sharon has been handling chemotherapy well so far, it seems that she has some difficult days in the mix. Now, Faith is hitting an all-time low with her grief.

Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) seems to have hit a dead end with her emotions about her mom’s cancer. Sharon busted Faith for skipping school. Sure, it’s typical for a teenager to have a negative response to a traumatic life event. Which seems to be exactly what is happening with Faith. However, is this her way of spiraling out of control?

CBS “The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Faith Struggling with Sharon’s Cancer

On Tuesday’s episode, Sharon and Faith have a difficult discussion. Sharon advises Faith that running away from her problems is a bad habit. Faith is holding out hope that Sharon will be healthy for their mother-daughter trip this upcoming summer. Turns out coronavirus hasn’t hit Genoa City quite yet – seeing as the rest of the world may be quarantined for the summer. Regardless, we hope the mother-daughter duo can take their much-anticipated trip.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), being the “rey” of hope that he is, advises that they visualize their health instead of getting ahead of themselves. Thankfully, Sharon has had plenty of help from her friends and family. However, it looks like it may get worse before it gets better. Sharon is extremely empathetic – and her daughter is going through an exceptionally hard time with her illness. What do you think will end up happening? Are you still convinced that Sharon will be cancer? Will she end up making it on her trip with Faith?
