CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was stabbed yesterday in a case of mistaken identity. At the Newman Anniversary Gala, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) followed Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with the intent of hurting her. Thought he left town? Think again. Unfortunately for Victoria, she and Amanda were both wearing white dresses and exchanged places by Billy. In the darkness of the photography set up, Ripley lost sight of her and stabbed Victoria instead.
Ripley is clearly the crazy one here. He’s the sociopath stalker with the knife. He should be blamed, no? Of course, everyone is out searching for him right now. Including Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and soon we’re sure Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have his guy out on the search. However, a lot of attention has turned to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Everyone Wants To Blame Billy – Is It Fair Though?
Immediately everyone wanted to know what had happened. They asked Billy who had no idea, he had his back turned when it happened and then Victoria just fell into his arms. They are quick to assume he had something to do with it. At that point, fine. He’s a likely suspect being that close to her at the time and the rough patch they were going through. However, once Amanda tells them who it was and gives them a name, shouldn’t Billy be off the hook?
Later at the hospital, Billy attempts to go check on Victoria but is pushed out by Victor and family. He should have a right to see the mother of his children right? Plus, I think they’re still legally married. They haven’t gotten a divorce yet, have they? This would be a red flag for me. I think Victor and company are taking out a lot of their anger and frustration on Billy, unfairly. What’s he’s done to Victoria is nothing to be glossed over, but an affair should take second place after a stabbing and she’s fighting for her life. What do you think? Is Billy getting shafted?
