CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that Sharon has been fighting with her breast cancer for quite some time now. For the past week or so, Sharon has been undergoing an intense chemotherapy treatment. At first, Sharon seemed to be handling the medication quite well. However, this past week, we began to see Sharon struggling – she seems tired and dull. Sharon visited Victoria at the hospital this week. Quite a nice sentiment for the sickly Sharon to visit her ex-sister-in-law and ex-stepdaughter in the hospital when her conditions are so grave. Nikki entered the room to see Sharon. Sharon responded to Nikki combatively and feistily before Nikki’s maternal instinct kicked in and she discussed Sharon’s treatment.

Nikki Newman voiced her concerned and noted that Sharon looks exhausted. Only in Genoa City
does an interaction like this go. After all, Sharon is Nikki’s ex-daughter-in-law and the ex-wife of
her long-time husband. Anything goes in Genoa, we can assume.
Regardless of the twisted web and tangled weave, The Young and the Restless fans are
reminded why Nikki Newman has stolen over our hearts on so many occasions. She responded
with class and poised and offered Sharon a ride home to the ranch so she can rest.

Back at the ranch, Nikki opens up a heart-to-heart with Sharon. Nikki is concerned that
Sharon doesn’t have a strong support system and wants to ensure that Sharon will be alright in
the upcoming months. Sharon assures Nikki that she has a strong support system and that she
is ready to fight the cancer. Nikki responds with a beautiful and reassuring statement that she is confident that Sharon will overcome this disease.
After all, Nikki says, Sharon is a warrior. Clearly, Nikki is too –seeing as she isn’t letting her personal feelings get in the way of being a kind Genoa citizen.Sharon returns the compliment and tells Nikki that she is a fighter as well. The scene ends and fans are stuck wondering whether Sharon will overcome her cancer
or just how glum the road will be toward the finish line for Sharon. Luckily, with her family, Rey,
and the support of her ex-in-laws, we can assume that Sharon has people rallying behind her
during this difficult time.
