CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is doing whatever she can to win back her girlfriend Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) after she was caught cheating on her with another woman. And while Tessa is most definitely hurt over this betrayal, Mariah is not giving up on their love. At least, not yet. Here’s what you need to know.
While it was Mariah who was worried this entire time that Tessa would cheat on her first while out on the road with her tour, she was the one who succumbed to temptation first. And wouldn’t you know it, she was caught in the act, too.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Does Mariah Deserve a Second Chance? Tessa Mulls Over Her Options
Cait Fairbanks, who plays Tessa on the hit CBS soap, offers this to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “Tessa is really hurt. Even though she’s a writer, it’s easier for her to shut down in real life than feel vulnerable. Tessa’s first instinct is to always protect herself. She sees what Mariah has done as a different kind of betrayal than Tessa’s past betrayals. Obviously, it’s hypocritical, but Tessa is just taking her time to see what she really wants to do under the guise of ‘screw you!’”
With that said, ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that Mariah is not giving up on their love. Or at least, not yet. She even bows to spend the rest of her life proving herself to be worthy of Tessa’s love, much to everyone’s surprise. Cait adds, “Forgiveness is a path, it’s not waking up and everything is fine. If you do go back into a relationship, you have to give 100 percent again. Tessa isn’t so sure she can do that.”
