CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have a rough road ahead. Sally has just opened the paternity test results and they know who the father is. The question is, how will that impact them in the future?

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sally’s Response

Sally has been a bundle of nerves since she became pregnant. She has known that the father could be Nick or his brother, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). When she admitted this to Nick, she determined that she needed to do a paternity test. This would help clear up the uncertainty and would determine the path ahead. Maybe now she is regretting that decision. She has just found that the baby is Adam’s.

She knows that they decided their relationship was over and would not work. Sally doesn’t want to go back. She knows that she may not be able to go forward easily with Nick, but she doesn’t want Adam in her life romantically. Sally does tell him that it is his child so that he can know and be involved in the child’s life. She is incredibly sad because this is it not the result she was hoping for.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nick’s Response

Nick has always been 100% supportive. He has been there for Sally through the pregnancy. Even when he knew that the child might not be his, he was not prone to worry about it. He calmly has reminded Sally that they would cross that bridge when they came to it. However, now that they have come to it, he is pretty distressed. He is trying to keep that to himself and be strong for her but is really sad that it is not his child.

Nick feels a sense of loss because he was anticipating the child as his. He was excited about it and was preparing for it, and now it’s not. It is also hard to gauge what this means for his relationship with Sally. He does not want it to change anything between them. However, Sally giving birth to his brother’s baby is going to be a difficult challenge to overcome.

How is the couple going to move forward? What do you think will happen? Will they be able to stay together, or will Adam and his baby come between them? Weigh in below!
