CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford) appearently has gadgets and connections everywhere. Sure, we know she didn’t physically go to Vegas to follow Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). What’s driving me nuts is who the heck was the waitress, and where did Phyllis get her little listening device.
This seemed to get overshadowed by the fact we learned Adam killed a guy. Presumably in self-defense. Maybe I’m making it a bigger deal than it has to be, but what are the odds that Phyllis could send or purchase a device, have it deliver to the waitress, and have the waitress at the right bar plant it next to the guys she doesn’t know. Logistics! This is a headache and a half thinking about it. Yet, they completely gloss over it.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: So, Are We Going To Ignore How Phyllis Got The Bug In Vegas?
So who was the waitress? Was it someone Phyllis already knew or did she call the place first and hire someone to do her bidding? How did she know which bar they would meet at?! It’s amazing that Phyllis would able to find out all this information and put her plan in motion within a day. By the time Chance and Adam arrived off a plane and met in the bar, she had already gotten all her things in motion.
Did she already have that listening device? How did she pair it with her little earpiece and get it to the waitress so quickly? It amazes me that Phyllis was able to achieve all of this, and this was her back up plan! Originally she had packed and was planning on taking a plane. However, at the drop of a hat was able to scheme this thing up and execute it flawlessly. Am I getting too worked up over this detail in a soap opera? Maybe, but someone had to point it out.
