CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman) sat down for an interview with Michael Farman of Michael Fairman TV and asked about what it was like returning to set with all the pandemic rules and guidelines. In the interview, Heinle explained,
“The first week was an adjustment. There were a lot of different protocols to follow, but now I think we are in week five or so, and things are kind of normalizing a little bit with all of the precautions that we have to take and trying to get used to them. So, it’s not much different than what’s going on in real life and how all of us are taking precautions to stay safe. We are kind of coming back a little slower because they aren’t having a bunch of people at the studio at one time. It’s nice. It’s been a lot of two-person scenes, and it’s good. I think it is going to be well-received by the fans when we start airing new episodes Monday.”

Another question asked was if Heinle was hesitant about returning to work in the midst of the pandemic, to which she replied,
“No, I was glad to go back. I was really missing everyone and missing the show and working and just the whole thing. So, I was very anxious to get back. It feels good.”
