CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers revealed today that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) grew up in foster care. While Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was having a bite to eat with his new friend Jared (Michael Maclane) discussing his upbringing and grandfather, Amanda overheard him. She explains to Jared that she grew up in foster care as well. Surprised, Jared and her begin discussing things while Nate listens.
They talk about having to switch schools, having a hard time making friends and never getting too attached. Jared identifies with this but suddenly Nate gets a call from the hospital. He tells Jared it’s about his grandfather and they need to go. So, did we know why Amanda might be drawn to someone like Billy? A life that’s surrounded by uncertainty and chaos?

Amanda and Billy have spent a lot of time together, but it is a bit odd. Amanda says time and time again that they need to keep their distance. However, she keeps falling back on him and even kissed. This has gone straight to Billy’s head but Amanda seems to be on a different page. Could her upbringing have something to do with being drawn to Billy?
Billy, as we know is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and spur of the moment kind of guy. He’s made dozens of mistakes and you never know what will happen with him next. Amanda may feel safe and normal around this. It’s possible that her childhood of revolving doors and uncertainty may have made her a sucker for people like Billy, or even Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes).
