CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is about to test just how thick Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) skin is. That’s because the beautiful blonde come up with an interesting plan to impersonate Phyllis in order to swipe a very valuable recording she has of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) conversation. Both Abby and Chance know that in order to defeat a person like Phyllis, they have to beat her at her own game. Read on for all of the latest spoilers.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘Young and the Restless’ head writer Josh Griffith offers this: “Abby and Chance see themselves bending the law rather than breaking it so they can outsmart Phyllis.”

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers also say that while in Chance’s hotel suite, Abby emerges from the bathroom looking just like Genoa City’s most hated woman, Phyllis Summers. That’s when Chance hands his girlfriend a forged passport and much to everyone’s surprise, Abby doesn’t seem nervous at all.
Griffith adds, “Abby has always enjoyed a sense of danger and relishes the opportunity to get revenge against Phyllis. Little does Phyllis know, Abby is ready to explode and run the risk of exposing the whole plot.”
With that said, it will be interesting to see just how Phyllis reacts to seeing Abby impersonating her. Needless to say, she won’t be too thrilled about it! It’s an audacious plan, but one that might have an interesting ending. Of course, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
