Not only is he preparing to propose to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but he’s hoping that his son Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) unsettling reaction to the news will prompt Hope to finally do what she’s been hesitating to do this entire time: and that’s to finally agree to Thomas’ terms. ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers tease that Thomas will call for a Forrester family dinner at the mansion and that’s where he plans on popping the all-important question to Zoe in front of everyone. However, unlike everything else that he has done up until this point, Thomas hasn’t really prepared for what is to come next.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “This is one of those scenarios that Thomas isn’t planning five months ahead. He’s going on a whim because he is seeing Douglas as a way to persuade Hope. He sees this proposal as an opportunity to get a rise out of his son, and because he’s getting a rise out of his son, he’s forcing Hope to make a decision. It’s almost like an unspoken ultimatum that he’s giving Hope.”

Needless to say, it’s Zoe who is going to be quite caught off guard over everything. But at the end of the say, it’s Douglas who is going to be hurting the most, as he is being emotionally manipulated by his own father. What Hope will do next, however, is anyone’s guess. Of course, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ fans will have to tune in to find out!
