CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers indicates that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is going to try to manipulate his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to get his way. Now that Steffy has guardianship of his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri), Thomas is going to try to exert his influence on Douglas’ life.

Thomas Forrester suggested to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) that they allow Douglas to choose who his guardian would be. Thomas lost custody of his son because of some terrible choices he made. He tried to get Douglas to lie for him and he hurt many people. Even though Douglas was hurt by his father’s actions, he does love Thomas.
Thomas thought that if he purposed this, Douglas would choose to live with him and not with Hope and her husband Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Douglas planned on choosing Hope and Liam, but at the trial it was too emotional. He loves both of his parents and did not want to disappoint either of them.
It was impossible for him to decide between them. Because of that stress and pressure, he chose the other loving face in the room–his Aunt Steffy. She agreed to have them stay with the idea that it is temporary. She believes he will get homesick for Hope and Liam soon.

Thomas thinks that because Douglas is with Steffy and John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), he will get to visit whenever he wants. He thinks that since Douglas is back with the Forresters, that he will be able to come and go as he pleases. He does not know that Steffy has also promised Hope to protect Douglas from his father as necessary.
When Steffy explains to Thomas that there will be boundaries, he gets angry. He says that there is no way that he will let them keep Douglas from him. They truly have the legal right now though, since the court has placed Douglas with them. He begins to try to manipulate Steffy, whining that he has lost everything–his family and his job at Forrester.
As his sister, he really needs her to step up and help him. He is trying to appeal to her heart and manipulate her feelings to get his way. He obviously is still putting his needs and desires above his son.
