CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that newcomer Tanner Novlan recently opened up about joining the show as the newest cast member. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, the handsome actor revealed that his mother, who also happens to be his biggest fan, was very excited when he told her that he would be joining the cast. She is such a huge B&B fan that she even named her own dog Thorne. What’s more, Tanner’s wife Kayla Ewell is also an alum of the hit CBS soap. Kayla has been helping Tanner get settled in with his new daytime television job by helping him learn his lines.

“It has just been an added bonus to have a veteran like her to be able to run lines with or have some sort of idea,” Novlan says of having a family connection to the show. “But everyone at Bold is so comfortable and so, so giving. It’s such a family, and [Jacqueline’s] the best, she’s awesome to work opposite of.”
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers say that Tanner’s character Dr. John Finnegan will have a new relationship with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) but unfortunately, they haven’t filmed any of their more passionate and physical scenes just yet. Because of all the new coronavirus and social distancing rules and regulations, Kayla will be stepping in and kissing her husband in front of the cameras, seeing how Tanner can’t touch his co-star Jacqueline.
“We haven’t shot any [intimate] scenes yet,” he notes, “but it kind of works for me at home, because if I ever want to schmooze on my wife, I can just say, ‘Hey, honey, I need to rehearse with you — this is protocol!'”
