CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have been busy lately, as B&B has given us some ideas and a way to view our favorite characters (we pick on them as much as the writers torment them, so maybe that qualifies as favorites?).
Over the last few weeks, we’ve watched Thomas Forrester (Mather Atkinson) plot and manipulate his way toward his end goal of getting Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to be his wife. He’s torn apart relationships and tormented his son to get his way. He let nothing stand in his way. Then the mice realized they had sharp teeth.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Manipulation Takes Numbers
As we’ve seen with Thomas, it takes using the right number of people to make manipulation work. Too many, and he risked leaks, choosing the wrong ones would mean someone would break, and too few and it wouldn’t go anywhere. Typically, one needs bait or a lynchpin to keep the others in the line. Thomas’ lynchpin was his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). By using Thomas, he hoped Hope would decide to marry him before he married Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Unfortunately for him, his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), broke as her conscience got the better of her. This was something CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers figured would happen since Steffy struggled with her role from the beginning.
With his plans found out, there was one thing for Steffy to do to make amends: convince Hope that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) had never stopped loving her and get them back together. Liam begged and pleaded with Hope, confessing his love repeatedly. But she wasn’t moved until he said they could all be a family, including her infant girl and Douglas. Those two, but especially Douglas, were the final two shoves that pushed her over the edge and into Liam’s arms. So, to be clear, Liam used the same child Thomas had been using to win Hope back.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Sure, He Really Loves Her, But He Needed To Prove It.
Dangling the child in front of Hope to convince her to be happy doesn’t put her or Liam in a good light, but it’s supposed to be a happy ending. It’s deserved as it took Three Blind Idiots to break Thomas’ plan wide open and to come up with an idea to thwart him later this week. Liam also showed one doesn’t need to be smart to manipulate someone. He just needed to be smarter than Hope and have the right bait.
Of course, this also brings up the subject of them taking Douglas away from Thomas, something the kid’s not going to like. Thanks to Thomas, Douglas will probably never get over his fixation with them being a family, so maybe it’s time to send him to boarding school after this and age him five or six years? Who wouldn’t want to see a wise-mouth juvenile delinquent in good standing return home and work to break up Hope and Liam so Mommy and Daddy have a chance to be together? What do you think? Did Liam use Thomas’ tactics and should they age Douglas for more storylines? Let us know in the comments below. CBS ‘Bold and the Beautiful ‘spoilers love hearing your thoughts. We’ll also continue bringing you the latest speculation, spoilers, and updates as they become available.
