That’s because the handsome Forrester son is completely enamored with the mystery blonde who just happened to appear in his life at the right time: Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards). Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge Forrester on the hit CBS soap, offers this, “They have been doing this road too many times before. Knowing where this road leads, sometimes it makes you make other decisions, which is why he is where he is. I don’t know about Ridge but me personally, I would have loved to have taken that call from Brooke, just to see what she could have come up with.”

With that said, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ spoilers indicate that moving forward, Ridge decides that it would be best for him to focus on his new romance and possibly his new life with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), too. For the handsome fashion executive, he’s been there, done that too many times to know better than to go back to Brooke.
Thorsten added, “Ridge is enjoying things with Shauna because it’s a new and exciting change of pace. With her, there’s no baggage. When Ridge looks at Shauna, he doesn’t see her making out with someone else. There is an innocence about their relationship that Shauna and Ridge have. She has never taken advantage of him, and it doesn’t have the weight that his relationship with Brooke has. Thank goodness it doesn’t! And, it’s Denise Richards as Shauna. Who wouldn’t want to get to know her better?
