CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that star Heather Tom (Katie Logan) is opening up about her nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress for the Daytime Emmys. It’s her 19th nomination but according to the actress, it never gets old because it’s a celebration of the entire daytime community. You can’t argue with that, right? Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the beautiful brunette says that she decided to submit her role for the Outstanding Lead Actress category for a good reason. That’s because her character Katie Logan has had one heck of an emotional year. She told the publication, “When Katie got her kidney transplant – her new parts, that’s when I decided to submit. I thought they wrote that story in a lovely way, and it acknowledged that she had been here before, with Katie’s heart transplant in 2008. I, personally, really like the way they write Bill Spencer and Katie’s stuff. I think there is a maturity there that’s enjoyable to explore and play with Don Diamont because we have such a long history together.”

Unfortunately, Heather and the other B&B beauties won’t be rocking the red carpet this year as the entire ceremony will be held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean she won’t be dressing up from home. When asked what she might wear, Heather said, “I don’t know! We will have to get our quarantine glam on. Maybe I will drag out an oldie but goodie, something I wrote, like, 10 years ago. I don’t know if I’ll fit into it, but we can try.”
