And what better way to end a crossover week than a battle between the Siren, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Brooke has never been one to take losing one of her men of the week well, even if she’s not directly involved with them anymore. She’s especially indignant and desperate when it involves Ridge and the Forrester name. So, she turns to one of her former husbands, Nick, to rant and rave about Ridge wanting to marry Ashley. For Ridge, it’d tie him to the Abbott family and give him an in into the family he may not have had otherwise, plus Ashley fits his Brooke-ish mold.

Nick tried to talk her down and convince her to move on with her life. Maybe if he wasn’t married to Ridge’s ex, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), she would’ve latched onto him. Instead, she intends to confront Ashley for trespassing onto her hunting grounds. Never piss off the Siren, Ashley. Speaking of Ashley, she had her hands full with her ex, Rick, as he was disappointed that she was going to marry Ridge, and tried flirting with her. He wanted them to give their relationship another chance despite Ashley and Ridge’s relationship being public knowledge. When that failed, he warned her about his mother, Brooke, and that she wouldn’t let Ridge go without a fight.

Despite Nick’s best efforts, the Siren is intent on informing Ashley about a few things and tracked her down. In what could be considered a one-sided conversation, Brooke informed Ashley that she and Ridge were meant to be together (Guess the multiple divorces were just breaks?) and that Ridge will always return to her and nothing would come between them (Except a dozen or so men and women over the years.
