CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that even Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) knows that little Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) needs psychological help. The boy has seen and gone through so much, that only professional might help.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, the beautiful blonde actress puts it this way, “She saw a lot of unstable, dangerous behavior in Thomas and the effects it had on Douglas. Hope never fell in love with Thomas, but she did fall in love with his son and wanted to protect him. Getting custody was a way to ensure she would always be able to do that.”

That also explains why Hope went to so many extremes to try to be with Douglas – including marrying his devious and dangerous father Thomas Forrester the first time around. Annika added, “Basically, the adoption was a way for her to be involved in Douglas’ life and makes sure she has a legal standing to ensure he is safe.”

But seeing how there is no way that Thomas will ever let anyone have complete control of his son – with Hope included – this might be almost too impossible for everyone involved. Of course, that’s not going to stop Hope from trying. She loves the little boy so much that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that he remains safe and has the childhood that he deserves. With his father Thomas around right now, that’s certainly not going to happen. Of course, if Hope can’t protect Douglas herself, the least that she can do is get him the help he needs before it’s too late. Or is it?
