CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that we all get where Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is coming from. Katie was trying to give Sally some hope in her final days and the intent behind it was pure gold. But at the same time, there comes a time when she has to start obeying Sally’s wishes and not blabbing her secrets to everyone who will listen. Sally is independent and she would rather people view her death as a sudden, unfortunate incident rather than some epic, tragic struggle that she eventually succumbed to. Sally wants to go out with dignity, not being viewed with pity.

To Katie’s credit she has gone above and beyond for Sally and Sally it looks like she appreciates her efforts so far. However, there comes a time when you have to stand back and respect someone’s wishes. Especially someone’s dying wishes. Sally really isn’t going to be around that long so how hard is it to start respecting her wishes? Yes, okay she garnered favor with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) for her and with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) but she’s going to fool around and say the wrong thing to the wrong person and then Sally will use what’s left of her strength to lambast her. Yikes, what if that did happen though? What if Katie angered Sally to the point of her having a seizure and then Sally died quickly as a result? Does Katie really have that on her conscience?

Also ultimately unless she is incapacitated entirely, what happens next is Sally’s decision. Katie is being helpful and supportive right now but she really needs to understand that all the help and support in the world doesn’t change the fact that Sally is a full-grown adult and that if she’s dying then she is allowed to face that reality in any way possible. Including going completely off the radar and not letting anyone know until they read the obituary what happened to her. Supposedly later on in the week, Sally is going to lay down the law to Katie and tell her to back off regarding spilling her secrets. I can’t wait for this happen because I want to see how this is handled. How do we tell someone who is well-meaning to back off when you’re dying??? Stay tuned!!!
