Candace Cameron Bure opened up on her JoJo-Siwa gift that she received in the aftermath of her feud with the star on social media.
Candace Cameron Bure Receives A ‘JoJo-Siwa Gift’ Following Their Social Media Feud
The pair were involved in a controversy when JoJo referred to her as the ‘rudest celebrity’ that she met. This was in relation to a claim that Candace refused to take a photo with her during the premiere of ‘The Fuller House.’
And as JoJo was 11 at the time, coupled with the fact that Candace took pictures with other kids, this memory stayed with Siwa. In her comments at the time, JoJo stated: “When you’re little and somebody says something to you, and you just never forget it as long as you live.
“I think we’ve all had that moment — and I feel like this was that moment for me.” Subsequently, the wider family got involved as Candace’s daughter Natasha slammed Siwa for overreacting, while JoJo’s mom Jessalynn Siwa questioned Candace’s poor behaviour.
But in and and amongst that, Candace did reach out to Siwa and apologize. And as that was accepted by JoJo, all looks to be well. In the picture here, we can see that Candace is holding a gift of a ‘ Diamond Art Club set,’ with a picture of JoJo.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I just found this really funny. There’s a PR company that sent me a gift. Coincidence? Just weird timing? I don’t know. But, it looks really cute and when one of my goddaughters comes over, we are going to do this.”
As long as the pair have managed to work out their differences, then that is the most important thing. And given what we have seen so far, it seems that both sides have put this behind them.
