Britney Spears has responded to claims that her family wanted an intervention for her by showing off her dance moves.
Britney Spears Responds To Intervention Claims By Dancing Her Troubles Away
According to reports, those close to Britney had a rental place ready in LA so that the intervention could have taken place. This was on the grounds that her behaviour had allegedly gotten worse following her episode at a restaurant where she was seen covering her face with a menu to avoid being filmed.
Meanwhile, another report stated that an intervention was going to happen at the singer’s house with her husband Sam Asghari being one of the people included. It was reportedly set to include counselling, as well as medical treatment. However, that ended up being scrapped.
A source at the time confirmed as much: “Everyone had hoped Britney could be convinced to seek treatment before things got any worse but they knew it wouldn’t be easy. She’s been going through a lot and has been increasingly combative.”
And by the looks of it, Britney will continue to do what she thinks is best. On Monday, 13th February 2023, the singer shared a video to her fans on Instagram showing her dancing. She can be seen wearing a green dress, as she dances to the song ‘Push it,’ by Salt-N-Pepa.
The response on social media was one of concern. A significant proportion of the fan base were worried about Britney’s welfare on the grounds that her social media posts merely reinforced her erratic behaviour. And in the process, they hoped that she would be able to get the support that she needed.
One person wrote: “Clearly she isn’t ok, far from it. She looks like a middle aged bored housewife with an addiction problem. I really wished there were people in her life who loved her and concerned about her welfare.”
