Britney Spears has confirmed that she could not be in a better position right now, following the news that her father, Jamie Spears, is no longer her conservator.

The duo have been involved in a lengthy legal battle over who should have the right to control the singer’s estate. Jamie, for his part, has always stressed that he was looking out for his daughter to make sure that people would not be taking advantage of her.
Therefore, the reason why Britney is still able to have finances following the current hiatus from her music career is because of him. Britney, in contrast, has spoken out over the amount of control her father has been exerting on her.
And she has gone on to compare her treatment to that of a victim of trafficking. But with the news that she was waiting so long for, she made sure that she told her fans just how happy she was feeling.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney shared a video of herself from inside the cockpit of a plane. She is learning how to fly it under the control of an expert pilot.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “On cloud nine right now !!! First time flying a plane and first time in a prop plane !!! Geez, I was scared.
“Pssss bringing the ship home, JL … Stay classy, beautiful people !!!! New pics coming soon !!!!” The timing of the post clearly indicates that Britney is referring to her newfound freedom.
And who could blame her for being so happy? She had to endure the terms of her conservatorship for over a decade since it began in 2008. And from that moment on, there were always rumours that Britney was unhappy.
The media presence did not help her cause. But given the rise of the #Free Britney Movement, the singer found a huge fanbase that was there for her during these difficult times.
Britney’s future is certainly looking bright, and with her recent engagement to Sam Ashgari, there is so much that the couple have to look forward to. And long may that continue.
