Felicia Culotta, who happens to be Britney Spears’ former assistant, has addressed her current relationship with the singer.
Britney Spears’ Former Assistant Felicia Culotta Claims The Singer Hasn’t Spoken To Her Since Her Conservatorship Victory
Britney, for her part, managed to gain freedom over her conservatorship which had plagued her life for 13 years. During the course of that process, the singer was very vocal about how she felt she had suffered abuse.
And given that Felicia had been with Britney during the early parts of her career, it was understandable if she wanted to reach out to Britney. But for all the want of trying, Felicia has not managed to get through to her.
In her comments, Felicia said: “I haven’t spoken to her in quite a while. I write all the time. I love handwritten letters. I just hope and pray she gets them. I know for sure before she wasn’t [in the past], so I’m very hopeful that she gets them [now].”
This naturally begs the question: why has Britney not been responding? Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, this could have been due to the following reasons. First of all, Britney may simply want to have a fresh start.
Therefore, it would make sense for her to cut ties with people whom she had been connected to previously. Secondly, Felicia had appeared in two documentaries about Britney: “Framing Britney Spears” and the New York Times’ “Controlling Britney Spears.”
As such, the singer may be wary of being with those who have spoken about her. Regardless of what the case may be, Felicia wanted to let everybody know in no uncertain terms that Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, was liable.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “It does feel like karma. Karma will get every single thing that was bad — karma will take care of [it]. I have faith in that.” Time will tell if Britney does end up reaching out to Felicia at some point.
