Britney Spears has reportedly been left feeling abandoned by her sister Jamie Lynn Spears during the singer’s recent conservatorship battle.
Britney Spears Has Been ‘Totally Abandoned’ By Her Sister Jamie Lynn Spears
Britney was very vocal about the lack of family support that she had been receiving in an attempt to free herself from the clutches of her father, Jamie Spears‘ control.
And now it seems that this anger has extended to her sister, who, for all intents and purposes, was absent when Britney needed someone to lean on.
A source revealed: “Britney is very, very angry and hurt. She feels like Jamie Lynn totally abandoned her and let her down in the fight of her life. They were best friends and everything to each other for so long.”
And yet, Jamie has always declared that she has been a good sister to Britney. She has previously spoken about how she has been there to offer a helping hand to Britney’s children.
Regardless of whether that is true or not, it is not enough when we consider that she left Britney to be treated like someone, who in the singer’s own words said ‘like a victim of trafficking’.
The source added: “She asked for support and feels like Jamie Lynn turned her back on her and couldn’t be bothered.” Nevertheless, Jamie does have her own side of the story that she wants to share.
She is currently getting ready to release her book entitled ‘Things I Should Have Said.’ It is clear from the title that she has a lot she wants to say, but whether that will tarnish Britney is another guess.
Britney, though, did not take that very well. In response, she appeared to shade her sister by stating that she was planning on releasing a book herself.
There is clearly a lot of bad blood between the two sisters. Britney’s following comments confirmed as much: “Psssssss also great news.
“I’m thinking of releasing a book next year, but I’m having issues coming up with a title, so maybe my fans could help.”
