Apparently, Meghan Markle still needs permission to post on her own Instagram account because reports say that Buckingham Palace was surprised to see one of her visiting the Mayhew animal shelter. However, Meghan visited the shelter two weeks ago and only decided to post the photo today and during the same time that Kate Middleton launched her child welfare program in London. A lot of people have reason to believe that Meghan is supposedly competing with the future Queen of England for attention.

The comments below Meghan’s post on Instagram seemed to suggest the same thing. “You just can’t help yourself can you Meghan? The Duchess of Cambridge is on the front page of UK newspapers and you have to release a photo from 2 weeks ago,” @itscatherinetoyou said. “2 week old photos and you post on the day Catherine is launching an initiative? Very very insecure and sad,” @carowatkinson said, while @striped_giraffe11 said it proved Markle’s “jealousy is off the charts.”
While no one knows what the reason was for Meghan’s post, others applauded her for her continued work and efforts to help sheltered animals. In fact, the Duchess herself is a huge animal lover and was spotted taking her two dogs out for a walk with her son Archie Harrison. She and Prince Harry have officially moved to their new home in Vancouver. They plan on making the Canadian city their new base.
