British Royal News finds that while reports said that Kate Middleton wanted her children to spend more time with her nephew Archie Harrison this year, it looks like that’s not going to happen anytime soon. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to quit the royal family has not only shocked the entire world but the British monarchy as well. So, what does this mean for other senior royals such as Prince William and Kate Middleton? Here’s what you need to know.
When Meghan Markle arrives onto the scenes, the British media quickly dubbed her, Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton the ‘fab four.’ Unfortunately, that didn’t last very long as the Cambridges and Sussexes quickly went their separate ways, mostly because of a rift between the two royal brothers. All of the tension behind palace doors coupled with the fact that the British media has been slamming and criticizing Harry and Meghan for everything they’ve done and said this past year has prompted the couple to walk out the door. Harry and Meghan – who will no longer be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – released a statement on their Instagram account explaining that they are stepping down from their roles as senior members of the British monarchy.
British Royal News: How Will Kate Middleton’s Life Look Like Post-Megxit?
For Kate Middleton, this might not be a good thing at all. And while no one knows if the two sisters-in-laws did indeed get along behind the scenes, they did make an effort to look like they were supportive of one another. However, it was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were getting slammed and dragged by the British tabloid machine while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed being in the spotlight for once.
With that said, things will definitely change. With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle doing their own thing – and in either the United States of Canada for half of the year – the tabloids might end up going back to picking on Wills and Kate. What do you think?
