British Royal News finds that it’s only been one hot minute since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they are stepping down from their senior roles and the media is already speculating about their next move. In fact, there are quite a few reports already suggesting that the couple formerly known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking to move to Los Angeles. In their statement posted on their official Instagram account, Harry and Meghan did say that they plan on splitting their time between the United Kingdom and North America. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the L.A. Times, there’s already strong speculation that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their adorable tot Archie Harrison will be setting up their second base in Los Angeles. This makes sense since Meghan is a California girl who grew up in the Los Angeles area. What’s more, her mother Doria Ragland still lives there.

If Harry and Meghan don’t decide on L.A., there’s also a good chance that they might make Vancouver their next home. The couple have made it no secret that they enjoyed their recent six-week stay in Canada so much that they would love to spend more time in the country. Vancouver would seem like the perfect spot, seeing how it’s a short trip from Los Angeles. This way Meghan Markle could still visit her mother and her family while Prince Harry could continue to do his work for the Commonwealth.
But then again, everything is up in the air right now. It’s been noted that Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family have been blindsided by the news. Buckingham Palace even released their own statement that said talks are still in the early stages. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any additional comments themselves, but there’s a very good chance that the palace will make their next move in what will most likely be an ongoing saga.
