British royal family news has found that Prince William is set to appear in a new upcoming documentary that will be aimed at raising awareness regarding mental health. The short film will be an important role of the BBC scheduling for the Mental Health Awareness Weak. The title isn’t yet official, but the Independent have revealed that the working title is ‘Tacking Mental Health with the Duke of Cambridge’.
Few details have been revealed as yet, but it has been announced that the documentary will see William tackling mental health through football. The sport is the closest to William’s heart, and he has recently been seen at various football clubs talking about the important issues that surrounds mental health. William was seen filming at West Bromwich Albion Football Club, which is only a few miles away from the club that he supports- Aston Villa.

William will be combining two of his passions in the upcoming documentary, as he will sit down with some of the biggest English stars. As well as that he will be meeting international footballers, managers and fans to talk about the important issue. Some of the figures that have already been announced to being involved are former England international goalkeeper Joe Hart and current Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
The documentary promises to be one of the must-see events of the year on television, as William will speak honestly about his own experiences. Sporting fans will also be keen to watch the short film as they will be able to learn more about the sacrifices that come with being an elite star at the highest level.

Another show is called ‘What’s The Matter With Tony Slattery’. This will see the comedian looking to find out more about his own mental health issues. Meanwhile, ‘Alastair Campbell: Depression And Me, Killed By My Debt’ and ‘Nadiya: Anxiety And Me’ will also be re-aired.
Another documentary that will be re-aired is the ‘Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum And Dad’. This powerful documentary shows ex-England international coming to terms with the death of his wife, and how his mental health suffered and was rebuilt during this period.
