British Royal Family News says that Prince William and Kate Middleton are finally ready to face the public again. After spending the last several months reaching out to their patronages with video calls, there is a new report that says the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are beginning to fill their calendar with actual royal engagements and public appearances again. Here’s what you need to know.

According to royal expert Katie Nichol of Vanity Fair, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have embraced video calls as a way to connect with their patronages and the public, little by little they will be out and about again as their aides are currently scheduling royal engagements and public appearances. Of course, safety will be kept in mind with social distancing measures in place. This comes as good news for many royal fans, as William, Kate and the rest of the royal family have been criticized for apparently ‘hiding in their castles’ even though many other European royals have already been trying to help get businesses on their feet as many countries begin to open up after several months in lockdown.

So far Prince William and Kate Middleton haven’t made any comments about their future plans, but there’s a good chance that they might be at the scaled-down Trooping the Colours at Windsor Castle this year. The Queen has been isolating at Windsor while William and Kate have been at home in Norfolk with their family since mid-March. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, meanwhile, have spent the last several months at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Now, whether or not the entire royal family will come together for Trooping the Colours remains to be seen.
