British royal family news has highlighted that the period of lockdown has been a time of change in the lives of the royal children, as there is now a new routine for Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte. The reports in the press have revealed that there are now a new set of rules for the children, and they are different from the ones that were in place before lockdown began.
It was revealed in a recent interview that the rules were introduced to ensure that the royal children were able to continue with a normal life despite the lockdown measures that were in place in the United Kingdom.
British Royal Family News: New Routine In Place For Children
It was recently revealed in Fabulous magazine that there was a completely new routine in place for the children to ensure that they could still get the education they needed. A source revealed that hours watching television in the daytime were limited, and that all programmes that the children were watching needed to be approved by Kate and William.
The news would have no doubt came as a setback for the children, as they probably would have been preferring to watch their favourite shows such as Horrible Histories on CBBC than working on school work throughout the day. Kate also revealed in the early stages of lockdown that her children were still being taught during the Easter break despite many of the other children having two weeks off.
British Royal Family News: No Rules Brought In
There were also a number of other rules brought in by Kate and William, as they encouraged their children not to shout and argue with each other. Instead, there would be a calm defusing of the situation where the angry child would speak calmly to William or Kate in a private room.
William has been a huge advocate of mental health throughout the pandemic, and he has continued to highlight that with the work that he has done at home. Behind closed doors, he is aware of the importance of mental health and often encourages his children to speak honestly about their feelings.
