British Royal Family News finds that according to royal authors and experts Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett, they write in their new book, Royals at War, that Meghan Markle made the decision to tell guests at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding back in October of 2018 that she was indeed pregnant with the couple’s first child. As many royal fans can recall, there were photos of Meghan Markle touching her midsection, while also hinting that she was pregnant at the time. However, it wasn’t until the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji later that week that they made their official announcement.
Now Howard and Tillet claim that Prince Harry was not only left embarrassed by his wife’s behavior, but that both Princess Eugenie and her mother Sarah Ferguson were furious over the move. They write in their new book, “Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child. This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a Royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah.”

If that weren’t enough, Princess Eugenie wasn’t very quick to congratulate Harry and Meghan when they officially told the royal family their pregnancy news. This is mostly because she was still feeling upset about how Meghan conducted herself at her wedding. While she is used to someone like Kate Middleton always being in the spotlight, she didn’t expect someone like Meghan Markle to come in and steal her thunder the way she did at her wedding. “Eugenie disappeared for a while after Harry and Meghan told the Royal Family the news,” an insider allegedly said. “Any bride would have had their nose put out of joint by something like that.”
