Brielle Biermann has reassured her fans that she is fine after she was hospitalised during a period in which she underwent extensive surgery on her jaw.

The procedure was so invasive that it took a reported six hours to complete. While she has been bedridden since then in order to recuperate, it looks as though she is on the mend.

And that has got her spirits up, much to the delight of her fans. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Brielle shared a picture of herself after the procedure. She is on the hospital bed and looks to be worn out.

The post was captioned by the following comments: “Sooooo… I had double jaw surgery on august 23 to correct my tmj & 9 mm overjet overbite. this was NOT for aesthetics but for quality of life.”

This begs the question, what caused Brielle to require this surgery? Well, it turns out that during her childhood, she was sucking her thumb at a late age.

This caused her mouth to become narrower to the extent that she could not cause her teeth to touch each other. Naturally, everyday tasks such as eating, became more burdensome than usual. That made her realise that she had to address this problem.

She added: “I had to use my tongue to help me chew and almost choked every time I ate. That lisp some of y’all complained about? thank the overbite for that as well.”

But through it all, she has come out of it on the other side with some valuable life lessons. She has vowed never to take things for granted and is hoping that her positive attitude can show others that keeping calm is crucial during times of distress.

She continued: “I was so scared. I was completely dreading this surgery, fearing the worst of the worst, but thankfully, with my positive mindset, strong family & friends support system.”

Let us hope Brielle continues to make those big improvements. But it is safe to say that she will never forget this experience. After all, not many would have required such a procedure.
