Bravo ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ spoilers finds that star Amelia Hamlin admits that it’s not always easy being on a reality television show that is all about your mother and her so-called friends saying catty and sometimes downright mean things about one another. The Insta-model recently opened up about some of the backlash she gets because of the show and how she handles it. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Amelia opened up about her experience working on the show and how she sometimes has to remind herself to take step back, but online and off.

During her interview, she said, “My sister Delilah Belle nd I just moved in together and for the past three weeks we have watched [the show] only because I’m sitting on my couch, I’m having dinner, and all of a sudden my f–king Instagram will be flooded with like, 100 comments, 200 likes, just going at me. I’m like, ‘What did I say?’ Then I’ll have to re-watch it, because my mom doesn’t tell me, ’cause she doesn’t want me to get stressed out. Today she was like, ‘So tomorrow you’re on the show — don’t worry though, it’s okay, don’t talk about it, don’t comment on it,’ and I’m like okay, I won’t … because I do struggle with biting my tongue at the same time.”
While she doesn’t get the same kind of trolling that her mom Lisa Rinna and the other RHOBH stars get, there are times in which she does get attacked by online critics. However, Amelia says that she doesn’t let it get the best of her. Just recently Amelia was dragged into her mother Lisa’s feud with Garcelle Beauvais after she criticized Lisa for her dancing videos and Amelia’s eating disorder.
“I am [getting a lot of hate] right now because of the Housewives and I will tomorrow because I tell Garcelle to f–k off, but … I just have to remind myself, ‘You’re a really nice person,’” she stated. “My motto is ‘Kill them with kindness.’ I think it’s the most attractive thing ever to be kind. I’m nice to pretty much everyone, unless you’ve done something really bad to me.”
