She has many fans, but after some of the comments that she has made about the Coronavirus, some don’t think she should be part of the show anymore. She recently “joked” about the virus and her fans were shocked about what she said. She posted that the virus is just God’s way of thinning out the herd. Then she said that people are going to die anyway. When she started to get backlash for her words, she told her fans that she was just joking. The jokes were in very poor taste and now she has started more posts that make fans curious about what she is thinking.

Kelly has been working a lot and still travels from California to New York on a regular basis. Rick Leventhal, her fiance, also lives in New York so she has been going to see him. She posted on social media this week, “Give me liberty or give me death!!! Unless there’s a virus with a 99% recovery rate in which case strip me of my freedoms, my job, my constitutional rights, and put me under house arrest.” She did delete this post and then told her fans, “I’m so sorry if I offended anyone regarding the Coronavirus. Like millions of Americans I’m frustrated and longing for the way things were but I absolutely empathize with those who’ve lost loved ones.”

One fan wrote to her, “You put your foot in it again. But superficial sorry makes it all better.” Then Kelly replied, “Nope, not trying to make it better but definitely realized that I was being insensitive after reading some comments that hit close to home.” Another fan posted, “Stop saying offensive things then. This is the second time you’ve been offensive regarding Covid.” Kelly replied back, “You’re right.”
It seems like Kelly keeps putting her foot in her mouth, but her fans are very confused why she makes these comments about how she wants her life back to normal, but she is still traveling and most Americans are not. Some states have closed their borders and we thought that California was still on an intense lockdown. It must be nice to be Kelly and get to travel to New York still.
