Bravo ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ spoiler finds that there is a lot of social unrest right now all over the world and for those who are serving as police officers, it is extremely difficult. One of the celebrities that has faced backlash through this is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Erika Giradi. Her son is a police officer and she has been slammed for supporting him and the protestors. We have scoop.

On Tuesday, Erika posted a black square on her Instagram account like millions of others who stand in solidarity with the protestors. This hit a nerve with a few of her followers and they told her that she couldn’t support her son, who is a police officer and stand with the black community. She posted back to them, “My son was brought up NOT to be racist. His job is to protect and serve ALL not just people that have his skin color. F**k you and stay off my page.” Another fan wrote, “stop being so naive. Your family made a CHOICE to be officers. For you to limit this to one situation is so shortsighted and dismissive. Black people are killed at a disproportional rate and the cops that MURDER hardly face the consequences. It’s not enough to say it’s a few bad cops.. if you go to a hospital, you think they tell you there are a few bad doctors there. The criminal justice system is a joke and needs an overhaul and if your family can’t handle it, tell them to seek employment elsewhere.”

She did have a lot of fans support her post on Tuesday though. One fan wrote, “People need to understand that being against police brutality doesn’t mean you are against police.” Another wrote, “She knows her son is an officer. She is simply supporting black lives too!! Wanting to end police brutality does not mean she does not support the police. Thank you Erika for this.” One more chimed in, “Exactly right. YOU CAN SUPPORT BOTH! NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD! STOP MAKING A DIVIDE ! That’s the issue! DON’T LABEL ALL AS BAD WHEN A SELECT FEW ARE THE PROBLEM!!!”

Throughout her Instagram posts, she tried to keep it positive and she even shared a picture of her son. She makes it clear to her fans that she doesn’t like to share pictures of him because he doesn’t want to be in the spotlight like her. We are happy that Erika did stand up for her son and also showed her solidarity during Black Out Tuesday. Be sure to catch the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the Bravo network.
