Brandi Glanville has mocked Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin after her son was accepted into college. The duo ,for their part, had been charged for paying bribes so that their daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli, could go to USC college.
Brandi Glanville: I Did Not Have To ‘Bribe Anyone’ In Reference To Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin College Scandal
In a post to her fans on Twitter, she celebrated the news but left a backhanded comment towards Lori. She said: “Amazing news, my baby got accepted to the University of Southern California. And I didn’t even have to fake any rowing pictures or bribe anyone.”
The scandal was particularly shocking, given that Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli had been accused of staging a photo in which their daughters were good rowers. It was claimed that such an image was used as part of their application process to sweeten the deal. When the pictures came to light, the media had a field day.
A previous source told Us Weekly: “The pictures are obviously extremely inflammatory and controversial, meant to intimidate Lori because she has refused to take a plea deal. The photos were never submitted to USC as part of the application process.” It should be noted that Lori did, however, hold her hands up. Although it should not be used to excuse her actions, it does still go some way to show a shadow of remorse.
During her sentencing, Lori stated: “I made an awful decision. I went along with the plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in the college admissions process. In doing so, I ignored my intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass. I can only take responsibility and move forward.”
Lori and her husband have ,since then, done their time. They had completed their community service, and by all accounts, that went ahead without a hitch. Added to that, they had also paid any court fees that were associated with the case. This should act as a warning to other stars. After all, Felicity Huffman had also previously been exposed after she had paid money to ensure that her daughter’s exam grades were at a high level.
