Speculation first began emerging that the pair were romantically involved after they were spotted together. While that may have been the case, it seems there is nothing romantic to suggest as of yet. But this has primarily been based on the fact that they are going through their respective divorces, which have been complicated to say the least.
Brad is involved in his divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie, which have become bitter with allegations that he had committed domestic violence. Meanwhile, Emily has recently filed for divorce from her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, following claims he had cheated on her.
With that being said, it seems that things between Brad and Emily are going to stay in the background for now. A source confirmed the following: “He’s keeping their friendly relationship low-key — because he and the model are both in the midst of messy public breakups.
“Brad has quietly dated the last couple of years. He worries that [Angelina] Jolie will badmouth him to their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend.”
Nevertheless, there are other hurdles that the two would have to overcome if they have a relationship. First of all, there is a significant age gap between the pair. Brad, for his part, is 58-years-old. Meanwhile, Emily is 31.
Therefore, they may have different priorities going forward in their lives. Secondly, Emily recently welcomed her son who is just 1-years-old. As such, that is something that Brad would have to consider if he took things seriously with Emily.
The fans on social media did not have good things to say about this potential relationship. A certain subset of people felt that if things did go ahead, they would end badly. One person wrote: “Explains why Brad is looking to young! also acting like a young man…You are not a sugar Daddy.”
