Poor Ridge wants to continue to believe that his son is a good person (to his credit, you can’t blame him, all parents want to believe that of their children), and instead turns his anger on Flo and Zoe. He really comes down on them, berating them for destroying lives and keeping Hope’s daughter from her, but he will especially be enraged over what they put Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) through. Bonding with a child, only to have to give it up? To quote the late Steve Irwin: “He’s angry!”

‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers for August 9th: Steffy doesn’t believe
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) along with Ridge, will head over to Steffy’s so that he can offer his daughter some moral support. After getting the news she got yesterday, that her daughter ‘Phoebe’ Forrester never actually existed and that the baby she adopted was Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) all along, she’ll definitely need it. Like Ridge, she will be reluctant to accept the truth about her child at first, but Dad Ridge will be there to calm her down and help her through that part.

Meanwhile, Brooke will be overjoyed, reuniting with her daughter and now, Grand daughter, but to say that this will be hard for Steffy will be the understatement of the century, it’ll be downright devastating! Of course she’s not going to handle it well at first and perhaps everyone will be at a loss of what to do while emotions are running so high.
Hope wants to take little Beth home right away, but Steffy will have a lot to say about that, she won’t want to give the baby she thought of as hers up yet. No doubt this will cause a divide between Brooke and Ridge because while Ridge is undoubtedly going to take his daughter’s side on this, Brooke will immediately take hers.
Poor Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is just going to be stuck in the middle because he can see both sides but if he takes Steffy’s side he’s going to make Hope angry and if he takes Hopes side then Steffy’s going to feel betrayed.

While they all agree that the handoff does need to happen at some point, they will all disagree on the how. Of course they all want this to happen in a way that will be least traumatic to little Beth, but they won’t be able to come to a solution about how that will go down. At least not yet. Somebody get these guys a mediator!
Maybe Dr. Phil should guest-star at some point and try to fix things, or perhaps Iyanla could fix their life, but they need someone who is far enough removed from the situation to make a decision that isn’t fueled by emotion. Will that happen? Stay tuned!!!
