Blake Lively shocked everyone by visually announcing the news of her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds. Blake proudly displayed the impending addition to the family as she entered the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit on Thursday in New York City.
Employees at the event, according to witnesses, only permitted a few photographers to photograph Blake, warning them in advance that it would be a “sensitive shoot” and that they would understand why when she walked down the red carpet. Although Blake is clearly pregnant, we don’t know how far along she is.

Although we don’t know when the swimsuit photo was taken, Blake posted it a few weeks ago, and there was no sign of a bump. This may have been done to confuse viewers before the big reveal. James, age 7, Inez, age 5, and Betty, age 2, are Blake and Ryan’s existing three children.
The 45-year-old Deadpool actor spoke candidly about the value of spending time with his children in December, noting that it played a significant role in his choice to take a break from acting. Reynolds said simply he wants to “live life like a normal human. I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule. For many years when my wife Blake would shoot a film, I would not shoot a film and I would be with the kids and vice versa. So we would sort of trade-off. We never really worked at the same time. But always we were away. So the kids were away too.”
