Millie Bobby Brown, the breakout star of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things,” shared an emotional farewell message with fans as filming for the show’s highly anticipated fifth and final season officially wrapped.
In a video posted to Instagram, a visibly emotional Brown addressed the cast and crew, her voice trembling with emotion. “Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates? Not me,” she confessed. “I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you, and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family. I love you, thank you.”

The heartfelt message accompanied a collection of photos capturing cherished moments from her time on set, showcasing the profound impact the show has had on her life.
Brown, who was just 12 years old when she first stepped onto the “Stranger Things” set, has grown into a global superstar. Her portrayal of Eleven catapulted her to fame, leading to successful ventures in film and television, including “Enola Holmes” and the upcoming “The Electric State.” Earlier this year, she also married Jake Bongiovi, marking a significant milestone in her personal life.
Fellow cast members have also expressed their own poignant farewells. Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on the journey and the enduring bonds forged with his co-stars.
“We just wrapped Stranger Things Season 5. I’m still in shock,” Wolfhard wrote. “We shot it for a year and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly. When I think of the show, I picture this first photo… A bunch of goofy young people making something they think is cool but really have no clue what’s to come. I feel like we’re still those people and I’m lucky to still stand beside them today. I hope you’ll love this season as much as I do. See you all next year.”
“Stranger Things” Season 5 is slated for release on Netflix sometime in 2025, promising an epic conclusion to this beloved series.
