Rumours that the two were connected first emerged when they were seen having dinner and also holding hands during the course of Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.
But given that they had apparently known each other since 2017, the point at which Billie was 15 and Jesse 26 regardless of whether it was romantic or not, that did spark some concerns. After all, they have raised a few eyebrows by virtue of the age gap between them. Billie, for her part, is 20-years-old.
Meanwhile, Jessie is 31. And yet, the pair could not help but mock those who have had a negative perception of their relationship through the following Halloween images. In the pictures here, we can see that the pair are enjoying the festivities.
But one such photo showed Billie dressed as a baby, while Jesse dressed up as an old man. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Life is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. Happy halloween.” It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter.
A certain subset of people were freaked out by the photos, as they came across in a rather inappropriate manner. And given that Billie has a fan base that has many younger people, she was called out for her lack of grace. Meanwhile, others were of the view that the age gap was even more pronounced in light of their Halloween behaviour.
One person wrote: “If they wanted to be ironic about their “age gap” relationship, this would have been a more tasteful costume imo. This is straight up glorifying pedophilia and it’s very weird.???”
Regardless of what you may think about Billie, one thing for sure is that she will continue to do what she thinks is best regardless of what others may have to say about it all.
