‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another stroll through Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Wednesday, October 8 looks like it’s going to be a good character building episode.
There’s going to be more information to come out about Doug McBride (Jason Graham)’s death. Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will be reeling, and we think it’ll be due to Doug’s last moments.
She’s been blaming herself over their last confrontation, and seeing him actually being alone will push her closer to the edge.
Her friends will be concerned about her and for good reason, and they’ll reach out and offer her any help they can.
With their marriage on the line, Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will struggle to find their way.
Martin’s idea to turn himself in is too little, too late and will only do more harm than good. If anything, it’ll force Smitty to accept him or not, and that will probably backfire.
It’s not a quick fix, and that’s something Martin has to accept. With any luck, they’ll find a way to meet in the middle.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 8: Vanessa starts to crumble
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are impressed with how well Vanessa has held it together so far. But there’s a limit to what anyone can deal with and she’s reaching hers.
Seeing Doug’s final minutes and thinking he was alone will eat away at Vanessa more than anything.
She’ll be very close to tripping over the edge, but her friends will be there for her. Especially Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
It’s obvious he feels terrible about what he did. This is probably the first time he’s cared about someone attached to a problem and it’s hitting him hard too.
He’s walking a line of his own, and we think it’ll be the reason his and Vanessa’s relationship will come to light.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Wednesday, October 8: Where to go from here?
Martin and Smitty will continue struggling to figure their own problems out, and Martin isn’t helping.
We get what he’s trying to do, but it looked like Smitty was ready to take a step forward when Martin moved out.
That set them back and Smitty was at a loss. He wants to move forward, but waiting for a moment won’t cut it.
Of course, had Martin not made a unilateral decision with Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) and acting like it was nothing didn’t help.
He didn’t read the room or didn’t care that it triggered Smitty’s trust issue. Just like then, Martin’s desire to jump to the head of the line to fix things could hurt them once again.
Hopefully, he and Smitty will be able to talk it through and make some progress that way. If not, this could get uglier.
Will Smitty and Martin figure out how to move forward, or are they destined to be apart? Let us know in the comments below.
