It looks like we’re going to have a fun episode on Thursday, March 6 as we get into the nitty gritty of relationships.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) told Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) that he’s thinking of running for president.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Thursday, March 6: Martin Confronts Smitty About Wanting to be a Reporter Again; Andre Plays Games on Derek and Ashley’s Double Date Night
The timing is curious as his husband shared his desire to get back into reporting.
Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) was a top flight reporter before he and Martin were married, and he’s got the itch.
But the timing is going to cause Martin some issues and this will be a fun scene.
While they deal with their relationship issues, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will be doing his best to break up a pair.
Or at least get Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) alone long enough to do his thing. As such, he’s going to stir the pot on Ashley and Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin)’s date night.
It looks like insecurities are going to be the name of the day, so let’s dive in!

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are looking forward to this scene as we’ve had a few things cleared up now.
We were sure Smitty was cheating on Martin with his secrecy about who he talked to on his phone. And we thought Martin had a gambling problem he confessed to Nicole.
But now, it looks like they’re both looking to move forward, just not together.
Smitty admitted to Nicole that he hasn’t talked to Martin yet about what he wants to do. Unfortunately, Martin overheard him.
From the way the spoilers look, Martin will take it personally that Smitty isn’t happy being a house husband. Especially when he needs his support more than ever.
This is going to be a fun conflict of interests for Smitty, as he could be accused of using his marriage to get inside scoops, and that won’t sit well with any Dupree.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, March 6: Third wheel’s the charm
It looks like Andre is going to step up his pursuit of Ashley. To do that, he’s going to make some waves when he learns it’s Ashley and Derek’s date night.
Derek’s already insecure with Andre, so if they happen across each other while he and Ashley are out it could escalate.
It’ll be hard for him to deal with Ashley and Andre sharing a bond he may never have with her. It’s deeper than most, and he knows how deep it can run.
We’re wondering if he’s going to work himself out of his relationship or will he find a way to hold it together.
