Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) has turned a blind eye so far, but at some point he’s going to be asked and we doubt it’ll go well for either of them.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) has managed to keep his secret for a long time, but that is changing. Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) will get a new assignment, and we think it’ll be investigating those events.
It’ll risk dragging Martin’s secret into the light and it’ll be the last thing Martin wants.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers want to like Kat and she has some great moments, but she makes it so hard.
We love how she’s so intent on getting justice, but her not listening to Jacob, or anyone for that matter, makes it hard to cheer her on.
Especially when she’ll be the reason Leslie will get off. Unless Jacob lies for her to protect her from going to jail.
This time we expect some more breaking and entering as she’ll set something up to help her get Leslie’s DNA.
This is where Jacob’s integrity will be put on the line since he wasn’t able to get a warrant. The Duprees will expect him to throw himself on his sword for Kt, but will he or will she want him to?
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, June 12: Smitty to out Martin?
Things are going to get interesting and rough for Martin pretty quickly. We’ve been waiting to find out what his secret is, and thanks to Smitty we think it’ll come out soon.
Smitty’s going to be given a new assignment, and we think it’ll have to do with some altercation or issue that’s remained unsolved.
This is where we expect Martin will start losing his mind. He’ll struggle not only with his secret coming out, but that his husband will be the one to do it.
The fact he promised Smitty several times that there were no more secrets, we expect things to go sideways in a hurry.
