‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another visit to Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Tuesday, December 23 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as secrets come out and the truth will be painful for all.
It looks like Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) bought into Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant)’s theory, probably because he couldn’t rationalize it. We were wondering how long it’d take him, and it wasn’t long.
Now it’s up to Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) to defend Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) while resisting the urge to use Febreeze in mid-scene.
Speaking of Vernon, he’s going to be floored when Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) tells him her diagnosis. He’ll be confused she didn’t confide in him until now, but he’ll be more concerned about her.
His focus will be on doing what he can to make her comfortable and help her beat her cancer.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers were curious how Ted would handle Leslie’s theory on Vernon stepping out.
Given his own past and how he was treated, we could see him wanting to believe it. But it looks like the fact he couldn’t rationalize any part of it was the deciding factor.
Now that he’s told Nicole, we think she’s going to go full defensive daughter. She’ll defend her father to the last, and she’ll also think this is Ted’s attempt to downplay what he did.
We expect this will turn into a huge fight between them. He would’ve been better off going to Vernon himself, and now he lit a fuse to a nuclear bomb.
Nicole’s going to need more product placements to get the stains out when she’s done tearing Ted apart.

Anita’s news will floor Vernon. There’s no other way to expect him to react, but he’ll stay at her side through it all.
She’s been strong, but now she’ll need him and the family to lean on and he’ll be there. He’ll comfort her and give her strength while they work to get her past this.
It’ll be a long road, but we don’t see anything but her beating her cancer with Vernon at her side the whole way.
Some of the best medicine Anita could ask for will come at Christmas when Vernon surprises her with his singing. So much for Leslie’s secret, but the truth will come out at the best possible time.
